Event RPG
Event RPG has no bonuses, but while you're wearing it, you will be kicking twice as fast as without wearing one. This makes it possible to combo from RPG to maul, without using knives. You can buy this thing from Diango. Diango is located in Draynor Village.
Save your Ranged levels for higher tier fights
If you're worrying about your Ranged level starting to get bit too high from pking, this is a good tip for you. Save your knives to obby maul comboes for higher tier target fights, and when you're risking a tier 1 - tier 5 you do melee only pking.
Berserker ring (i)
Getting 650k NMZ points for imbued berserker ring requires hard work and bit of quests to complete, but is really worth it as you will max higher. To play NMZ on obby, you need following quests completed: Lost city, Witches house, Shilo village, One small favour, Family crest.
How you kill the monsters in nmz?
Completing the quests gives you 5 monsters in a nmz rumble. Those are Chronizan (Family crest boss), Tree spirit (Lost city boss) , OSF boss, Shilo village boss and the Witches house boss. Of the 5 monsters you want to kill Chronizan as much as possible as it's the easiest monster to kill and gives you most nmz points. (Note that while you fight against Chronizan, you have to change your blast spell type after every attack and use each element of spell. So how you do it is simple; First win blast, then water blast, then earth blast, and finally fire blast. You repeat this till Chronizan die.) If there are no Chronizan spawned in the rumble you want to kill the OSF boss. After that, The tree spirit. If none of the above is spawned, you want to leave the rumble and start the game again. Now that you know which monsters to kill, let's move on. You want to use Blast mage spells. The spell runes spawn inside NMZ so you want to pick them up before each game begins. You also want to pick the pickaxe for the following reason. Casting a spell wearing a pickaxe against the OSF boss is highly recommended, because OSF boss has very high defence, and while you're wearing the pickaxe, you hit through his high defence. For other bosses you want to wear your staff. Now that you know your attacking methods, it's time to move on how you tank the bosses. It's quite simple. You use the big room as your favour and run away from the monsters just like you do while soloing saradomin GWD. You run too each corner, and from there you run towards the next corner after casting a spell. After you have a few nmz points, you want to spend some of them on absorbtion potions. Now that you have absorbtion potions, you want to get yourself a rock cake, which can be bought from a dwarf who is located inside a tunnel under white wolf mountain. (The same quest than the one you were during the Dwarf part of Recipe from Disaster). Now that you have your rock cake and absorbtion potions you want to lower your hitpoints using the rock cake down to 1 and absorb few doses, so that the monsters can only hit the amount of how much hitpoints you have.
You do this till you have 650 000 Nightmarezone points in total and then imbue your ring! This method should take around 6-10 hours.

Darklight spec your opponents at the beginning of your fight
Darklight special attack reduces your opponents stats and gives you slight advantage. Darklight requires the quest "Shadow of the storm" Completed, which is required quest for mithril gloves. So if you've completed your mith gloves, you should be able to buy a darklight from Varrok for 1k, from the demon slayer knight.
Bone dagger p++
Using poisoned weapons such as bone dagger p++ can get you more kills. Poison stacking 6 with your maul can combo much damage. It's also good risk to have as it's worth around 10k-15k.
Antifire and Anti poisons
Pking with Antifires and Anti poison potions is handy, as it limits the amount of damage you're taking. Antifire potion reduces lots of damage when you're fighting people who use crossbows as their dragon bolt (e) cant hit with the dragonfire special attack. Poison can stack lots of damage so anti poisons are recommended, or antidotes.
Recoils and Combo food
If you don't have imbued berserker ring, recoils are strongly recommended. I have gotten many kills only because of using recoil. Granite maulers take up to 12 damage by speccing you using granite maul if you're wearing a recoil ring.
What is combo food? Combo food is something you can eat in same tick as other foods like sharks. Best combo food is Cooked Karambwan. You can eat shark which heals you 20, and in the same tick you can eat a karambwan, which heals you 17. That's 37 in total, very helpful when you're being gmaul specced.
